chrisy_valo and I have been talking about having a vam contest. Just for the fun of it, well actually when we first started talking about it, it was just going to be a friendly competition between her and I. We were going through a '30 Seconds to Mars' obsession period, well mostly just obsessed with 'The Fantasy' and really just the lyrics

For some reason, those lyrics made me want to write a one shot, and when I told her, she too wanted to write one based on those lyrics. We decided it would be vam, and she started writing her story close to a month ago, I just started today. So when I spoke to her this morning, we decided we'd see if anyone else wanted to join the contest. If not, everyone who checks my page will get to see both of our stories and decide which you like best. But if you do want to join, you can email me at victoria95843@yahoo.com with the story. I'll post them, and leave them up for two weeks with a poll where you can vote. The rules will be simple, it has to be fantasy, be it a fantasy of Bam's or Ville's, or the theme can be fantasy(not of this world or a different time period). The song 'The Fantasy' doesn't have to be your inspiration for writing, it was just ours. The winner will get a pretty banner to put up on their profile pages. If you decide to enter have fun writing, if not have fun reading. ^_^

Rules

. Must be based on fantasy, which technically can mean AU. Or just one of Bam's or Ville's fantasies.
. There's no rating requirement, since this is a locked journal, I don't put a age requirement on anything, and that goes for this challenge.(The stories will be open to the public for three days after the due date.)
. No homophobic entries, come on, it's a vam contest, or racist(of any kind) entries. It's just uncalled for.
. It must, and I repeat, must be a VAM(Bam/Ville) story. Chrisy and I decided to have it a vam only contest. In the future we may decide to hold a Matty/Jimmy, Syn/Zacky, etc. contest, but for now, it's vam only.
. This is basically a oneshot contest, the story can be as long as you want, half a page, twenty pages, it's all excepted. If you want to make a chaptered story it's except able if all the chapters are entered at the same time.
. Lastly, have fun, it's a fun contest.

Dates For Entries

All stories need to be in by May 17, 2008. We will accept ones on May, 18, but nothing after. They will be posted on May 19 and the contest will end May, 29. That's when I'll announce the winner May, 30. The entries will be open to the public from May 19 to May 22. The results will be public from May, 30 to June 2.

Weird things are happening with accounts being hacked and such. So if you don't have solid information on your profile proving you're a person(ex:intro about yourself, or you're part of a community I am part of), not a computer. Leave a comment or I won't add you. ^_^
